Dashboard
Members
How to Add a New Member
From the Members overview, click on Add a new Member on the upper right corner. Within the Basic Member Information fill out the following information:
Company Name - Name of the Member/Company
Membership Level - Choose between: Basic, Featured, Premium
Company Logo - click on browse and upload from your desktop/personal files
Member Since - refers to member start date
Membership Status - you can choose from the following:
- Current (profile will be shown on the front end)
- Expired (member's name will remain on the list, but will not appear on the front end)
- Lead (not shown on line )
- Courtesy (not shown on line)
- Featured (shown on line and on the home page)
Billing Month - Select member's billing month
- Once you are done filling out, click on Create member on the bottom right corner to complete the Add a New Member process.
- Make sure to assign a category to a member otherwise the member will not show on the front end.
- Additional information will be available once you have successfully added a New Member. You can then proceed to Edit a Member after
How to Edit a Member
From the Members overview, select the member you want to edit and click on the view/edit icon to the far right of the same line the member's name is on. This will bring you the Members >>view details dashboard where you can edit member's information by clicking on the following tabs:
Dashboard
To edit basic member information, click on Update Profile and edit the following fields:
- Company Name - name of Company or Member
- Join Date - date when Member joined
- Drop Date - date when membership terminated
- Membership Level - choose between non-member, basic, premium or featured (these levels are usually determined during design phase but can be changed/edited)
- Membership Status - you can choose from the following:
Current (profile will be shown on the front end)
Expired (member's name will remain on the list, but will not appear on the front end)
Lead (not shown on line )
Courtesy (not shown on line)
Featured (shown on line and on the home page)
- Member can edit profile - choosing yes will allow the member to login from the front end and edit their profile info
- Billing Month - Choose billing month for the member
- Company Logo - you can browse from your deskstop and upload Member's logo here. Check the Remove image box if you want to remove the image
- Extended information - you can choose to include the number of full time and/or part time employees
Click on Update member once you are done editing.
Contact Info
Click on Update Contacts and edit phone numbers, e-mail addresses and URL. Click on update contact information again to save changes once done.
Addresses
Click on Update Addresses to edit display, billing, mailing and physical address for the member.
Categories
Click add/edit categorization for the member. Members have a single default category, but they can be included in additional categories by clicking on those categories. Click on Update categorization to save changes once you are done.
Profile
Click to edit/add a short blurb/description about member. Click on Update profile to save changes once you are done.
Staff
Click to add individual staff profiles, image and information. Just click on Add staff profile. To edit staff profile, click non Update staff profile on bottom right of the, then click on Update staff profile again to save changes. To delete a staff profile, click on Delete staff profile, click on the delete button again to confirm or cancel to go back to staff profiles
Special Deals
Click to Add Special Deal on the member's profile page. This is visible on the front end, and usually appears on the Chamber's home page. To edit a special deal, click on Update Special Deal, and Delete special deal to remove from member's profile.
Gallery/Video
Click to Add videos or Add photos on your member profile page. you can add a caption or short description to the photos you upload to the gallery, and use the YouTube codes to add videos. You can also set the videos to be active on inactive on the member's page.
Social Media
Only the social media fields that have info will appear on the Member page. Click on Update.
Custom Fields
Are controlled in Settings and is determined during the design phase of your website. Leave this alone as we are the ones who will set this up for you
SEO
Click to update SEO, Keep Meta Keywords 10-15, comma seperated & Meta description under 100 characters. WARNING: DO NOT Change your URL Click on Update SEO to save changes.
Testimonials
Clck to Add testimonial to add a testimonial to your member profile page. Click on Update testimonial to edit existing ones, and Delete testimonial to remove.
Logins
Click to add/edit member logins within the CMS. Also choose active/inacitve status
Custom Fields
Click to add Custom Fields
Interactions
Send a Message / Log a Contact :
- Send a Message - eMail a message to the Member
- Log a Contact - allows you to keep a record of existing messages/interaction with the member
How to Delete a Member
From the Members overview, select the member you want to delete and click on the delete icon on the far right of the member's line. It will ask you to confirm and you can click on Remove member to complete the action or click on cancel.
Logging in as a Member from the Front End
Login as a Member, click on login and enter fields, and you can update the following:
- Profile -
- Addresses -
- Social Media -
- Contacts -
- Staff Profiles -
- Deals -
- Testimonials -
- Videos - Add New Video by pasting YouTube imbed code on the Youtube Video ID line. You can chose video to be active/inactive status
- Gallery - edit/delete/add images into your gallery
